Sela on Stress Management Sela is the featured speaker for Akanke Creations. She is a Motivational Speaker, Storyteller, Poet, Author and Healthcare Educator. She does workshops and keynote addresses in Nashville and other major cities. Sela is listed in Marquis' Who's Who in the South and Southwest, Marquis' Who's Who in the Arts and Entertainment and Marquis' Who's Who in American Education. She's listed in American Biographical Institute's 2,000 Notable American Women, Sterling Who's Who and Strathmore WHO'S WHO.
She has been inducted as a writer in the Williamson County Arts Council. An active member of the community, she is an volunteer of many organizations. Sela was invited by People to People Ambassador Programs to accompany them to South Africa as a Professional Storytelling Delegate, Egypt as a Female News Media Personality and China as an Educator. Her poem, "Faith" was displayed at the William King Regional Arts Center in Virginia as part of an exhibition entitled, From Africa to America: Honoring Our Ancestors. Her poem "Akanke Creations" was on exhibit at Watkins Institute in Nashville; Myth of Everyday - N4ART exhibit. An accomplished speaker, she is sensitive and empathic to many- for there are many experiences she is able to share.
