Management Theories Organization Style Chart.

Management." we briefly talked about a couple of the ideas on
managing people. These points are covered well in you book on pages 34
through 56
We talked about the different viewpoint classifications found on page 34 and
some of the different classifications under each. (Scientific
Management,...Bureaucratic Management,... Hawthorn Studies,... Management
Science,... etc.) Some of the graphics are below.

- For this paper you have the following choices: (1) write about something
you are reading for class or something related to the class
lectures. Compare this to your thesis or your job. (2) Add
information to the website. You may break this up into small pieces
and look at several different points on the site. You may use your
personal experience. It may or may not end up on the site but you
are welcome to try.
- Send me only one file with the cover letter first, then the report after
a page break.

a short report on the reading material, homework and website material for
the class you missed (just enough to cover everything missed).
- In
your report explain how the homework, reading material and website may
apply to your work or thesis.
- Remember
to always include a cover letter (Cover letter in 1st person,
the paper in 3rd person).
- Send
the paper in electronically to craigastevens@westbrookstevens.com
- Come
prepared to the next class with homework and reading material completed.
